Hey folks! I'm having a problem with my MSI MAG241cr monitor. When I switch it to vertical orientation in Windows, my cursor behaves strangely. Instead of moving up and down, it goes sideways; when I move the mouse left, the cursor moves up, and when I move it up, the cursor goes right. I've tried a few fixes like unplugging the monitor's power and DP cable for a few hours, using different ports on my GPU (a 9070xt), and even replugging my mouse. I also disconnected the display in Windows settings. Any ideas on how to fix this? I attempted to attach a screen recording, but the cursor appears correctly in it. I should also mention I'm using Windows 11.

This sounds like one of those quirky Windows 11 issues where the system just can’t keep up. Have you checked if there's anything in your display settings that might be misconfigured? Sometimes, settings can get flipped around during orientation changes. Merely changing the scaling options or resetting to default may help!
I had a similar issue! Switching between different scaling options in the display settings really did the trick for me.
You could also try updating your AMD video drivers. Sometimes older drivers can cause these weird issues. Make sure you check the AMD website for the latest version and install it. It might be just what you need!
I did check, and all my drivers are up to date. Still no luck with the cursor, unfortunately.

Yeah, I agree! A lot of people seem to encounter this issue on Windows 11. If changing the settings doesn't work, try updating your display drivers; there’s often a fix in newer updates.
