Connecting Two Monitors to a MacBook Pro Using Thunderbolt

I'm trying to figure out the best way to connect two external monitors to my MacBook Pro. I know that I can use a single Thunderbolt cable to connect to a Thunderbolt (4/5) dock and connect one monitor through the DP/HDMI port on the dock, but can I connect the second monitor using a Thunderbolt to HDMI/DP adapter? Additionally, since Apple silicon MacBooks don't support MST, I'm wondering if this setup would cause any issues. Also, would using two Thunderbolt to HDMI/DP adapters from the same dock work?

Yes, you can connect one monitor via the dock's DP/HDMI port and then use a Thunderbolt to HDMI/DP adapter for the second monitor. Just make sure to check the dock's documentation to confirm that it supports that setup. It should work fine since you're not using MST, which isn’t supported on Apple silicon.

Thanks for clarifying! I thought I was missing something with the MST support issue.
