I found an Nvidia RTX 3090 Founders Edition on Facebook Marketplace for $390. The seller says it's been used for a year in an Ethereum mining rig and is in working condition, though it has some dust on it. There's no visible damage that I can see. I know buying mined GPUs is often risky, but considering it's a 3090 for under $400, what do you think?

Yeah, mined GPUs can experience some wear and tear. Just keep in mind that a new 3090 typically sells for about $700-800. If it's legit, you won't find anything else at that price point.
If it’s working well and genuinely in good shape, that sounds like an incredible deal. The 3090 is similar to the 9070, which goes for around $600. Honestly, it's a risk since it was mined, but it might hold up just fine!
I might try to offer him around $350, just to see if he's willing to negotiate!
