Hey everyone! I'm a 17-year-old who currently uses Windows 11, but I'm looking to switch to Linux since my laptop isn't the most powerful. It's an Acer Aspire A514 with an Intel i3 processor and 4GB of RAM. I mainly do basic tasks like watching YouTube, using OTT services, and working with Google Suite. I know there are different distributions out there, but I'm not familiar with any of them. Can anyone suggest a user-friendly distro that would work well for my needs?

You should definitely check out Linux Mint with the XFCE interface or Xubuntu. Just keep in mind that with 4GB of RAM, performance might not be stellar, but it’s totally doable with Linux. Lubuntu is also a great option if you're looking for something even lighter. If your laptop is still running on an HDD, switching to an SSD could really help improve performance too!
Have you looked into Linux Mint Cinnamon? A couple of others mentioned it too, and I've heard it's super user-friendly!
