I recently replaced my PC's power supply and encountered a confusing split cable connected to the top front of my case. Initially, I unplugged everything I thought was essential—motherboard, CPU, GPU, SSD—but struggled with this last cable that seemed glued in. After finally disconnecting it, I noticed it's a split cable leading to both the PSU and directly into the motherboard's sysfan5. My new PSU doesn't have a matching connector, and I'm worried that it might not be compatible. What should I do?

Glad you figured it out! It sounds like you were overthinking it. Just connect that cable to your new PSU's SATA chain and you should be good to go!
It looks like that split cable is for a fan controller board. The white part connects to the fan controller for speed control, while the black part goes to your PSU. If you want to keep using it, you can plug the SATA power end into a SATA power cable from your new PSU. Alternatively, I usually recommend connecting all fans directly to the motherboard for better control.
Make sure to post pictures of the old PSU connector and the cable itself! It helps to show specifics so we can assist better. You can upload them to imgur and share the link in a comment while you're troubleshooting.
I just posted the pictures in the comments! Thanks for your patience.
That makes sense! I’d also suggest checking if your motherboard has enough fan headers to accommodate all your fans.
