I'm building a new PC to jump into 1440p gaming, especially for AAA titles. Most of my gaming experience has been with FPS and esports games, but I really want to explore single-player games like Cyberpunk too. Here's what I'm planning for my build:
- Intel Core i7 14700F Processor
- MSI Pro B760M-A WIFI DDR5 Motherboard
- Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5060 Ti Gaming OC GDDR7 16GB
- Team T-Force Delta RGB 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MHz CL38 DDR5 RAM
- Team T-Force Z44A7Q M.2 PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD 1TB
- Phanteks AMP GH Gold ATX 3.1 PCIe 5.1 750W Power Supply
Do you think this setup can deliver a decent 1440p gaming experience? I don't mind lowering settings from ultra to high if necessary.

Watch out for the SSD you're planning to use. The Team T-Force Z44A7Q has QLC flash, which isn’t very durable and can slow down over time. It's better to go for a TLC SSD like the TeamGroup MP44 or any others that are recommended. It might save you some headaches later on!
Your build looks solid, but I'd suggest considering a better GPU than the 5060 Ti if you want good 1440p performance. Generally, I recommend spending about half your total budget on the graphics card. The setup you've got might give you decent performance at 1080p on medium-high settings in CPU-intensive games, but the 5060 Ti could limit your overall performance and future upgrade potential.
You should be able to run games at high settings, especially if you’re okay with using frame generation or upscaling. Just don’t expect to crank up ray tracing without sacrificing performance.
That makes sense! I'm thinking of upgrading my GPU after a couple of years. Just want to make sure the rest of the setup holds up.
