Is this pre-built PC good for sim racing and casual gaming?

I just got a sim racing rig and I'm on the hunt for a computer that can run the games. I'm leaning towards a pre-built system since I'm new to PCs and want something ready to go quickly. My budget is about $1000, and I've checked the requirements for the racing games I plan to play; they're pretty low, so I'm confident I'll find something that'll serve me well. I'm also looking for a PC that can handle some non-racing games occasionally.

I found a pre-built with a 4060 GPU, Ryzen 5 5600x CPU, 1TB SSD, and 16GB DDR4 RAM at 3200. I'm not sure if this setup is solid or if I'll need to upgrade it soon. Any advice on whether this pre-built is a good choice or if pre-built systems aren't the way to go? Thanks for your help!

Is this for the US? You can definitely snag a better pre-built for $1000. If you can, check out options with AMD GPUs; they often cost less than NVIDIA cards but deliver similar performance since some people don't know much about GPUs. Always good to shop around!

Yeah, I'm in the US. I’ve been getting tips to avoid the Ryzen 5 5600x and DDR4, so building my own is looking appealing now. It’s wild how much can change in a couple of hours!
