My Samsung Notebook 7 is Stuck on ‘Diagnosing Your PC’ – What Should I Do?

I have a Samsung Notebook 7, and I accidentally bumped it, leading to a strange noise. After unplugging and plugging it back in, it showed 'Preparing Automatic Repair' and eventually went to a black screen. Now it's displaying 'Diagnosing Your PC.' I'm not sure how long this should take or what steps I should follow next.

If it doesn’t finish the repair, check out the Advanced Boot menu. You might be able to uninstall recent updates or revert to an earlier restore point to get things back on track. If all else fails, a Windows reinstall from a USB could be your last resort.

Thanks! It's still diagnosing, so I'll wait and see.

Just a heads up, I had a similar issue and ended up with no fix. Sometimes those diagnostics can't save your setup.

Yeah, it seems it couldn't fix my PC either.

Just give it some time to see if it completes the diagnostic test. It’s usually a good idea to let it finish and then see if it boots normally afterward.

It's been running for about 25 minutes now.
