Why does my laptop keep disconnecting from WiFi?

Hey everyone, I'm having a really frustrating issue with my laptop's WiFi. Every time I connect, it only stays connected briefly before disconnecting. When I try to reconnect, the WiFi option disappears entirely from my laptop, and sometimes I have to restart it just to get it back. Even then, it doesn't stay connected for long. I've noticed that the WiFi works perfectly on my phone, so it seems to be a problem specifically with my laptop. I'm a student and rely heavily on internet access for my studies, so this is really impacting me. Has anyone faced a similar issue and found a solution?

Is your laptop an ASUS? I find that some ASUS models have specific quirks with WiFi.

Yes, I have an ASUS Tuf Gaming.

I might have a fix for you! Try deleting your existing network from your laptop's settings, and then remove your device from the router's known network list. After that, try reconnecting it like it's a new device. This might help reset the connection.

I'm really new to this, so I appreciate any guidance! Can you explain how to do that?
