Hey everyone! I'm in the market for a new computer since my old one, which I've had for 7 years, is starting to fail on me. I'm considering a 2-in-1 device that can function as both a tablet and a laptop. My budget is around $250 to $450, but less would definitely be awesome! I know very little about electronics, so any recommendations or advice would be super helpful. Thanks a ton in advance!

I've mostly used HP products; for instance, I love my HP Spectre x360, though it's more expensive at around $1,700. However, for a budget-friendly option, my niece got an HP Chromebook x360 touchscreen for $280 refurbished. It's versatile as it can be used like a tablet too! Just know that I’d need more details to give a solid recommendation for you. Like, what do you mainly use your computer for? Any specific programs you want to keep using?
You might want to check out Wirecutter; they have some really detailed reviews on all sorts of computers. They often suggest great options based on price and functionality, which could help you find the right fit without overspending.
Awesome! Thank you, internet stranger 🙂
I currently have an HP laptop from 2017. I like to play games like Sims and Webkinz. If I play for more than two hours, the fan goes crazy and it overheats!
