Help Me Choose: RTX 5060 vs RX 9060 XT 8GB for My First PC Build?

Hey everyone! I'm building my first PC and need some advice on choosing a GPU. My budget is between $1,000 and $1,500, and I have everything set up except for the graphics card. I'm considering two options: the RTX 5060 and the RX 9060 XT with 8GB of RAM. In my area, these two cards are similarly priced, and sometimes the RTX 5060 is even $15 cheaper. There's also a 16GB version of the RX 9060 XT available, but it costs $50 more. Since this is just a stepping-stone build for me, I might not upgrade for a few years, so I want to be sure I'm getting the best value. I've provided my build specs below for context, and I'm curious about your experiences with these GPUs. Which one should I go for? Thanks!

Honestly, if you can swing the extra $50 for the RX 9060 XT 16GB version, it might be worth it in the long run for future-proofing. Even if you're on a budget, that extra VRAM will be helpful, especially if you're playing more demanding games down the line. But if you're sticking to 1080p and lighter titles, the 8GB version could still serve you well for a while. What resolution are you aiming for?

Yeah, I agree with GamerDude88. For just a little extra, 16GB would be a good investment. Plus, games are definitely starting to require more VRAM, even at 1080p.
