I'm considering two options: the RTX 5060 and the RX 9060 XT with 8GB of RAM. In my area, these two cards are similarly priced, and sometimes the RTX 5060 is even $15 cheaper. There's also a 16GB version of the RX 9060 XT available, but it costs $50 more. Since this is just a stepping-stone build for me, I might not upgrade for a few years, so I want to be sure I'm getting the best value. Honestly, if you can swing the extra $50 for the RX 9060 XT 16GB version, it might be worth it in the long run for future-proofing. Even if you're on a budget, that extra VRAM will be helpful, especially if you're playing more demanding games down the line. Yeah, I agree with GamerDude88. For just a little extra, 16GB would be a good investment. Plus, games are definitely starting to require more VRAM, even at 1080p.
