Need Help Understanding PSU Cable Connections for My First PC Build

I'm new to building PCs and have a few parts picked out: an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU, a Gigabyte Radeon RX 9070 XT GPU, and an MSI MAG X870 Tomahawk WiFi Mainboard. My GPU requires three separate 8-pin PCIe connectors. I found a PSU, the Corsair RM1000e, which has more PCIe slots than I need, but it only comes with two cables for the GPU. I'm confused about how many PCIe cables I actually need to get and if I should consider any specific types of cables. Any guidance would be awesome!

For your setup, you really only need about 750W, so opting for an 850W PSU with enough PCIe cables would be a good idea. The Corsair RM850x has three dedicated 8-pin connectors which would suit your GPU perfectly! Also, check the RMx series since they generally come with more cables than the RMe series.

Thanks for the suggestion! I'd like to stick with 1000W for some extra future-proofing.
