Hey everyone! I'm building a new gaming PC with a 9800x3d and an RTX 5080. I'm trying to decide between two SSDs: the Crucial P3, which has a read speed of 5000MB/s, and the WD Black, which is faster at 7500MB/s. Do you think that extra speed will make a difference in my gaming experience since I'm using this setup just for gaming?

When you're looking at SSDs, not all brands and models are created equal. For instance, the Crucial P3 is on the lower end in terms of quality, often aimed at OEMs. It's important to consider that the P3 has QLC flash, which generally has lower durability and may slow down noticeably over time. The WD Black, on the other hand, is a solid choice with better build quality and durability due to using TLC flash. If you're planning to really put your system through its paces, I'd recommend going for the WD Black.
I wasn't aware of that! How does WD Black compare to others like Samsung or Lexar?
