Should I Update My BIOS for My Motherboard?

I'm having trouble with my Colorful A320M-K motherboard and Ryzen 3 Pro 4350G combo. It won't boot - the heatsink fan is spinning, but I get no display. I'm wondering if I need to update the BIOS or if something else might be causing this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You probably don't need to update your BIOS right away. The latest version you should have is from 2022 (version 1015). Can you tell us if you bought the motherboard new or used? Also, it would help to know the other components in your build.

I bought it used. The seller had it working, and the CPU is an R5 2600. I'm also using HyperX 2x8GB 2666MHz RAM and a 500W generic PSU. Everything is connected properly, and fans are spinning, but the CPU isn't warming up after a couple of minutes of being powered on. Does that seem normal?

It sounds like everything is mostly connected, but if the CPU isn't warming up, that's a red flag. Make sure the CPU cooler is properly seated and that there are no bent pins on the CPU. Also, check if the PSU is actually delivering power. Sometimes, generic PSUs can be unreliable.
