Am I at risk of being hacked after clicking a suspicious link?

I came across a news article image about a fire on Facebook, and out of curiosity, I checked the comments. Unfortunately, I accidentally clicked on a scam link (it was something like [www.Livestream****.com]). I closed the page right away and didn't enter any personal information. Now I'm feeling a bit anxious, so I went ahead and changed my password and checked my downloads folder, but I didn't find anything weird there. Also, I don't use a VPN. Should I be worried?

Honestly, if you’re worried about security on Facebook, maybe it’s better to step back from it for now. It has its risks, especially with all these scam links floating around. But if you need it for your business, just stay vigilant!

It’s definitely a good idea to be cautious with links, but since you didn’t enter any information, it's unlikely that anything happened. Changing your password was smart. If you’re still unsure, consider using a malware scanner to check your device just to be safe.

Just clicking a link like that typically won’t get you hacked. Most browsers are designed to protect you from such threats unless you actually enter your info on a malicious site. Since you closed it without giving any details, you’re probably safe! Just keep an eye on your accounts and stay cautious.
