I'm dealing with a frustrating issue where some PCs can't upgrade to Windows 11 24H2, even though they show over 400 GB free space. The error message states, "We temporarily need more space to install your updates. Please remove some things you don't need right now and we'll try again." Has anyone encountered this problem and found a workaround?

You might need to upgrade manually using the ISO. It's also possible that the recovery partition is too small, so check its size compared to a PC that isn't having issues. If it's smaller, that might be your problem.
Why is the boot drive so small? Mine is 2 TB, and I think that's the minimum for running Windows 11 comfortably. I'm considering going up to a 4 TB drive.
Make sure your system partition is at least 100 MB. Sometimes, older Windows installations don’t have a proper system partition set up at all. You can check its size through disk management.
It's essential that the free space is on your system partition. You should check how much space is available there specifically.
