Hi everyone! I'm facing a serious issue with my web server running Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS while using the Webuzo web panel. I keep getting this error stating 'YUM/APT Broken' and it's not related to Webuzo but rather the server's operating system. My package management system is throwing errors when I attempt to configure packages. For example, I'm getting messages like '/usr/sbin/dpkg-preconfigure: not found' and various dependency issues with the linux-image packages. I've tried running commands to fix the problems, such as 'dpkg --configure -a', 'apt-get update', 'apt-get upgrade', and 'apt-get install -f', but nothing has helped. I'm looking for any other suggestions to resolve this issue. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

It looks like you might need to reinstall the 'linux-base' package since you're missing some key binaries like 'linux-update-symlinks' and 'linux-version'. You can do that with the command: 'sudo apt-get install --reinstall linux-base'. That should resolve the dependency issues you're having. Just make sure to backup any important configurations before you proceed, especially given your live websites!
Reinstalling 'linux-base' is definitely a good step. Just a heads up though, since you have 50 live websites, it's best to do this during off-peak hours to avoid any downtime. I’d also suggest setting up a snapshot of your server if possible, just as a precaution before you make any changes! Good luck!
