I'm having an issue where one of our users is experiencing problems with email delivery. They've received a Non-Delivery Report (NDR) stating that the remote server returned '550 5.4.311 DNS record is invalid or misconfigured'. Upon investigating further, I've noticed that certain emails have additional characters appended to the end of the address, which seems to be causing the delivery problems. For instance, an email might look like `[email protected]`. Has anyone else faced this issue, and how can I resolve it?

It seems like there might be an autocomplete issue if incorrect entries are being used. Double-check the user’s saved addresses to see if there's a typo linked to it.
You should check if the problematic emails are going to your internal team or external users. Also, try to identify if it's happening with just one conversation or across the board. Ensure the recipients haven’t set any custom reply-to addresses in their Outlook options, as that might skew things too.
It sounds like you're dealing with a corrupted autocomplete cache. Try clearing it out, as it often solves problems like this. Since this user was migrated from another tenant, they might have some remnants of old data causing the issue. Don't forget to check and edit any associated contacts too, especially if you can view them in a list format to spot any problems.
Yeah, the autocomplete history seems to be the culprit here. I suspect that’s what's causing those extra characters. I'll definitely suggest clearing that out.
Thanks for the tips! It’s happening with external users, and it sounds like those extra characters are definitely an issue during delivery.
