Can’t Boot My New PC From Old SSD — Help!

I just upgraded my entire PC setup and reused my power supply and SSD/HDD. My SSD has Windows 10 installed, but when I try to boot, my motherboard BIOS doesn't show the SSD in the boot priority list. I've tried a few things like only connecting the SSD, enabling hotplug, switching the Boot Mode to legacy/CSM, and using M-Flash. It's late, so I'm signing off for the night, but any advice or tips would be appreciated! Here are my specs: MSI MAG B650 Tomahawk Wifi MOBO, Ryzen 7 7700x CPU, and XFX Radeon RX 7900XT GPU.

First off, can you share the model of your SSD? That might help narrow down the issue. But honestly, since you've upgraded your PC, it's often best to do a fresh install of Windows. The old OS might not work well with your new hardware – driver conflicts can be a pain. It’s odd your SSD isn't showing up in the boot options since it should be initialized. If all else fails, consider getting a new drive for Windows and see if your old SSD shows up once you’ve installed Windows on the new one. You’d still have access to your files on the old one, but you'll need to reinstall your programs.

Got it! The old SSD appears in storage but isn't in the boot list. Do you think I should try installing Windows 11 via USB? That’s what I was thinking for my next move.
