How easy is it to switch back to Windows after trying out Linux?

Switching back is pretty straightforward, especially if you're dual booting. You can boot into either OS with just a few clicks. If you want to play it safe, start with a Linux live USB to try it out before committing. Just boot from the USB and if you decide it’s not for you, you can just remove it and reboot.

Returning to Windows is easy as long as you’re prepared. You might want to clone your current drive just in case, so if you mess something up, you can instantly go back. Dual-booting is the best option for a smooth transition.

If your main goal is to keep your documents safe, a dual boot is a good option. With a bootable Windows USB, you can easily reinstall Windows if you decide Linux isn’t your thing. I often keep two USB drives handy: one with Windows and one for different Linux distros.

If you're unsure, I recommend setting up a dual-boot system. That way, you can have both Windows and Linux installed side by side.
