I'm exploring options to power my PNY 5070 Ti, but I ran into a snag. My power supply unit (Corsair 750RMX) only came with two PCIe cables, and one is already in use for my CPU cooler, so I prefer not to share cables. I initially wanted to buy a direct cable from Corsair, but unfortunately, they don't ship to Australia. I also tried a white cable I found on Amazon, but it seems defective and I ended up returning it. I've heard using a pigtail PCIe to power the GPU isn't ideal. What are some good alternatives available in Australia?

Using a PCIe cable to power a CPU cooler? That's a bit concerning! Just to clarify, make sure you’re using the right cables for your GPU. The EPS cable on your motherboard and PCIe cables are different. You should stick to the Type 4 cables for your GPU, but I'm curious—what went wrong with the cable you bought? Any chance it was just a defective product?
Yeah, I realized I mixed up what I meant to say. The issue was with the Type 4 cable I tried to plug into the adapter I got with my GPU. It didn't work right—it just gave me a black screen. But the adapter was fine. I guess my fear is that sharing cables could lead to problems later.
