I've been having a tough time with my gaming performance. My 1% lows in Unreal Engine games are dropping to between 25 and 30 fps, while my average fps stays above 100. This issue is noticeable and really impacts my experience, especially in UE5 games. I'm wondering if my Ryzen 7600 CPU is too weak for gaming or if the issue lies with Unreal Engine 5's optimization. I bought this CPU about seven months ago, and the stuttering and low 1% performance have me thinking about upgrading to a 7800x3d just to get a smoother experience.

Honestly, Unreal Engine games can be poorly optimized, particularly those using UE5. You might actually want to consider upgrading to the 7800X3D. Sorry to say, but it seems to be the only real viable solution right now.
Try enabling "global c state control" in your BIOS. I had a similar issue with huge stutters, but once I turned that on, the performance got way better for me.
So switching to the 7800X3D will really fix my problem? I'm surprised to hear it has that much impact.
