I'm new to building PCs and have been doing some research, but I'm feeling a bit confused about my choices. I'm considering getting a Ryzen 7 5800X and an AMD Radeon RX 6600. Are these parts a good fit for a beginner build, or should I look for different options?

You might want to keep researching before committing to those parts. Going with AM4 right now could be a bit of a backward step since the tech is getting older and hasn't really kept pace with the latest options.
