Did I Get a Bad Deal on My New GPU?

I recently upgraded my graphics card from a 2060 to a 5060 Ti 16GB for $430, but I'm seeing conflicting information about the VRAM. The specs list it as GDDR6 memory, but the box claims it's GDDR7. Did I make a mistake by choosing this lower-priced brand, PNY, from Amazon?

From what I know, all RTX 5060 Ti 16GB models should have GDDR7. So, regardless of the brand, that's what you should expect. It sounds like there might be a mistake in the listing you saw.

Could it really be just a listing error? I'm worried it’s incorrect since it says GDDR6.

Sometimes, Amazon listings can be inaccurate. I recommend using GPU-Z to confirm exactly what GPU you have. That should clear up any confusion about the memory type.

The box says GDDR7, so it seems like a labeling error. I just ordered it an hour ago!

Yeah, all 5060 Ti cards are supposed to come with GDDR7. You might want to double-check the legitimacy of that GPU you bought. It’s common for listings to have mistakes, especially on places like Amazon.

I've checked online, and people say it's a reputable brand with good reviews. Still, I'm not sure if I should be concerned about the price.
