Hi everyone! I'm really not savvy with computer hardware, and I want to upgrade my PC to make it compatible with Windows 11 and have more storage space. I think a new graphics card and some additional storage could do the trick. Here are my current specs:
- Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor at 3.60 GHz
- Installed RAM: 80 GB
- Storage: 477 GB SSD (ADATA SX6000LNP) and 932 GB HDD (WDC WD10EZEX-07WN4A0)
- Graphics Card: AMD Radeon RX 5700 (8 GB)
- System Type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

If I really just need a graphics card upgrade, what brand would you recommend that won't cost me a fortune?

Whoa, 80 GB of RAM? That's pretty wild! Your current system should handle Windows 11 just fine. Do you know which motherboard you have? If you don't, download CPU-Z, go to the 'mainboard' tab, and it will tell you. You could easily add 1 or 2 TB of NVMe storage for around $50-100.

For a solid upgrade, consider getting a 2TB NV3 SSD and the Radeon RX 6600 XT with 16 GB—make sure you get that 16 GB version! That setup should really boost your performance. If you want to go further, upgrading to an AM5 setup with a 7600X or 9600X would be great, too.
