I recently helped a friend with their new phone, which had a "SIM locked" issue, and I downloaded some files for him from the official site to fix it. A few days later, my PC started freezing, and when I checked, I noticed that my drive had an open lock symbol along with a yellow danger sign, which definitely seems off. After some advice, I rebooted my PC, and now the danger sign is gone, but the open lock is still there, with a key underneath. Should I be worried about this? What does it mean?

It sounds like there might have been a temporary glitch when you were helping your friend. The open lock usually indicates that the drive is encrypted or has some sort of protection, while the yellow sign typically implies there's an issue to be concerned about. Since the danger sign is gone after a reboot, it’s likely that everything is back to normal, but keep an eye on how your PC performs just in case! Recovery mode could also help if the freezing continues.
Having the lock on your drive isn’t necessarily bad, it often just means that the drive is secured. The warning was probably just a temporary state caused by the system updates or changes. If your PC runs fine now, you shouldn’t worry too much. Make sure you have backups and try a full system scan. If the freezing repeats, there might be another underlying issue!
A scan is a good shout! Sometimes weird issues can pop up after downloads, and a virus scan could help catch anything you missed.
