After over a decade in the IT field — starting as a developer and now spending around 6 years in DevOps — I feel like I'm drowning in a sea of knowledge I'm expected to have. It seems like every day something new pops up. The job market shifts so quickly that preparing for an interview feels like I need to memorize every tiny detail. It's all about specific tools and technologies, whether it's cloud providers, Kubernetes, security practices, or the latest coding framework.

But here's the kicker: it feels like the qualities that truly make a good colleague — communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and good decision-making — are totally overlooked. It's just about the tech skills. Honestly, sometimes I want to throw in the towel and switch careers altogether. Anyone else feeling this way?
