Hey everyone! I have an Acer Aspire 5 A515-51G, which currently has 4GB of modular RAM and an additional 4GB soldered onboard. I decided to upgrade the modular RAM to a Crucial 16GB stick (model CT16G4SF**D**824A). However, upon installation, my laptop refuses to POST. When I switched back to the original 4GB RAM, everything worked fine. I've checked, and according to msinfo32, I'm on the latest BIOS version, and all sources I found say that the Crucial RAM is compatible. Am I missing something, or is the RAM just not compatible with my setup?

Thanks for catching that! It actually was a keyboard slip; I meant CT16G4SF**D**824A. I'll update my original post.
It seems like there's a potential issue with the RAM model itself. The correct model you're looking for is CT16G4SF**D**824A, not the version you've listed. That incorrect model appears only on a few obscure Russian or Ukrainian sites, and there's a chance it might not be genuine. Without specific details on that model, it’s hard to say what's wrong—it could be related to compatibility, ranks, or other specs. Double-check that you’ve got the right one before proceeding.
