Hey everyone! I recently graduated and I have some cloud certifications, but I'm nervous because I lack professional experience. I have a technical interview coming up where I'll have to work on an infrastructure/architectural case study throughout the day. The company mentioned that they want to see how I analyze, design, and propose solutions to understand my thought process and problem-solving skills for a junior cloud/DevOps role. I'm really anxious about this, so I'd love any resources or tips to help me prepare and perform well during the interview!

To really shine in your interview, I suggest gaining some hands-on experience. Try setting up a VPC, create a virtual machine, and implement security groups for access control. Run a simple service on the VM, establish a database, and set up IAM roles and policies to ensure least privilege access. Doing all of this with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) would be ideal. Remember, practical experience speaks volumes in interviews—this is what you’ll want to discuss!
