I recently built a new computer for myself, closely following the same setup I did for a friend. Everything seemed to go well until I tried booting up this one. The motherboard's LED is green, indicating it's powered. Occasionally, when I only have the power cord and an HDMI connected, the system will boot to a screen asking me to press F5 to load the default AMI BIOS or F1 to continue. However, this doesn't happen consistently. When I plug in a keyboard (I'm using a basic wired one), it often fails to boot. I've double-checked all connections, disconnected additional components like extra HDDs and my new graphics card (5070), but I'm stuck. My motherboard is Asus ProArt Z890-Creator Wi-Fi, PSU is Corsair RM1000x Shift, CPU is Core Ultra 7 265K, RAM is G.Skill DDR5-6000 16x2, CPU cooler is Noctua HN-D15S, SSD is Samsung 9100, and the graphics card is not yet connected.

Have you tried switching out your keyboard? It might be worth checking if a different one works. Also, try booting with just one RAM stick installed. And don’t forget to reset the CMOS by removing the battery for a few minutes—might not fix it, but can’t hurt! If all else fails, you might want to reseat the CPU; just make sure the cooler isn't too tight against the CPU surface.
I switched from a wireless to a wired keyboard. I’ll try reseating the RAM sticks one at a time too. If I have to take off the CPU cooler, I’ll need to redo the thermal paste, and I don’t have the supplies for that. If it doesn’t work, I might just return everything.
