Hey everyone! I started learning about AWS at the beginning of 2023 to get my AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification since I've always found it fascinating. I did some studying, but then I fell off track. Now, I'm eager to dive back in and seriously prepare for the exam. The issue is that my account doesn't have Free Tier access anymore, and when I try to set up a new account, I'm told I'm not eligible for the free plan. Does anyone have tips on how I can study without racking up extra charges?

Another idea is to create a Wise account. You can make and delete virtual cards, which can help you set up a new AWS account with different card details. I heard that strategy works for some folks!
One option you could try is to create a new AWS account using a different email. Just keep in mind that if you use the same credit card, it might still link back to your previous account, which could cause eligibility issues.
I gave that a shot, but it still said I wasn't eligible for the Free Tier. Do you think it's because I used the same credit card?
Yeah, I think that might be the case. They usually track accounts by your payment methods too.
I didn't know about Wise! Thanks for the tip, I’ll definitely check it out.
