Is the Remote Job Market Viable for a 17-Year-Old Developer?

I'm 17 years old and currently in high school. I've been programming for about 2-3 years and have worked on a variety of projects covering languages and frameworks such as C, C++, React, the MERN stack, TypeScript, Go, and now I'm learning Rust. Although I don't have any formal computer science education and have lost much of my earlier work due to a lack of documentation, I have developed solid experience. Now, I'm looking to earn some money and was considering a part-time remote job. Given my age and education level, I'm wondering if there are opportunities available in the remote job market. What languages or frameworks should I focus on, and how can I effectively apply for roles or proposals?

The job market can vary quite a bit depending on where you live and what specific field you're interested in. In general, remote jobs aren't as plentiful as they used to be, and especially for entry-level positions, having that negotiating power is crucial. Since this is your first job, it might be better to focus on local, in-office positions; if remote options arise, that's a bonus! Make sure you hone your skills based on what local employers are looking for.
