Is Kernel Level Anti-Cheat Something to Worry About?

Hey everyone! I'm pretty new to PC gaming and I've started playing FragPunk. I've come across a lot of chatter about the game using Kernel Level Anti-Cheat and the fact that it's developed by a Chinese company, NetEase. Should I really be worried about having this anti-cheat system on my PC? If it turns out to be a problem, how can I get rid of it from my system? Thanks for any help!

Some people are really against KLAC simply because they believe it's too invasive for corporations to access such deep parts of our systems. But honestly, corporations usually just want targeted ad data, which they already have pretty good access to. If you're paranoid about a company spying on you, that's something you might want to think twice about. If the government is after you, KLAC in BF6 won't be your biggest concern!

The argument that they have enough data already sounds shaky to me. It's like trusting billionaires with tax money because they're already wealthy and won't be greedy.
