Best GPU Upgrade Options for My Gaming Setup?

Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade my PC for a better gaming experience, especially for Grounded 2, which has been giving me motion sickness with my current setup. I consider myself neither a hardcore nor casual gamer. I play games like Hogwarts, The Sims, Baldur's Gate 3, and Outlast Trials, but I'm not into shooters like COD or Fortnite. I want something that will last me about 4-5 years, and while my budget is ideally under $800, I could stretch it to $1200 for better longevity.

Currently, I have a rig I built around 4 years ago with the following specs:
- **Motherboard:** Prime H410M-E
- **GPU:** NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 (the main part I want to upgrade)
- **CPU:** Intel Core i7-10700F
- **RAM:** 32GB
- **Operating System:** Windows 10 Home x64B
- **Power Supply:** 600W Digital Storm Performance Series (supports up to an NVIDIA RTX 2070)
- **Monitor:** KOORUI 34-inch Curved Ultrawide WQHD 3440x1440 Gaming Monitor

I've been looking at the 9070 XT, but I'm concerned it might be overkill. The 4070 has been hard to find and is priced higher than I expected. I'm also hesitant about the 50 series. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! 🙂

Definitely check the dimensions of your case to see if the GPU will fit! The overall PSU specs are very important, and since you're planning to upgrade soon, make sure the new GPU matches your case. I'm excited to see your power supply details when you find it!

Found it! My power supply is 600W Digital Storm, and the case dimensions are 18"x17"x7.5". Any recommendations?

If you're looking to upgrade your GPU, you may need to bump up your power supply since your current one is a 600W. You might want to consider a 16GB card like the 9070 XT, which should provide a solid experience without future-proofing to an extreme level. Just check your PSU cables and wattage before buying!

I'll share my PSU specs later, but I've seen the 9070 XT at 16GB. Does that seem like too much power for my gaming needs?

Don't forget about your power supply when upgrading! Each PSU usually operates at 240V if you're not in the US, so make sure you're looking at wattage instead. For a solid mid-range option, you could also look at the 9060 XT (16GB), which might fit your needs without being excessive. Just make sure your case can accommodate the GPU length as well!

Right? I'm not trying to go top-tier, just something decent that'll run well for now. I have a good feeling about the 9060 XT!
