I've been having trouble reaching tech support for my ISP account without being forced to reboot my modem. It's so frustrating to always get stuck talking to a robot instead of an actual person. Is there any way to bypass that robotic system and get help without having to go through the hassle of taking my site down just to ask a simple question?

Another option is to find your local sales representative for business services and ask them to put in a ticket to skip the IVR altogether. I get that they probably save a lot of time by making us go through the reboot process before escalating, but sometimes you just need actual help without all that!
If you want to avoid the reboot ritual, try saying "agent" or "escalation team" really often when you're talking to the automated system. It may help you get transferred to a real person. Just a heads up, though—sometimes it might cause the call to drop, so you might need to try it a few times!
Honestly, I had a similar ordeal with AT&T. It feels like both companies play the same frustrating game. I've learned to prepare for a modem reset no matter what, even if it seems like the issue is on their end. With Comcast’s Enterprise support, though, I haven’t had the same issues, so that might be worth looking into!
You could also try calling 1-800-COMCAST and entering a random zip code. When the voice response asks questions, just keep saying "agent" for each one. I usually get through to a human that way within 7 minutes at most. Then, they can quickly look up your account using the modem's MAC address.
Yeah, I had that happen too! It hung up on me when I tried to do that. Seems hit or miss.
