I'm in the US and looking to buy a specific GPU from a retailer in Italy that's not available here. The card I'm interested in costs over $800, and I've heard that there might be a 15% tariff for importing it. I've come across various information regarding tariffs and what triggers them, and I'm hoping someone in this community can share their personal experiences or insights on the matter. Thanks!

With the way tariffs have been fluctuating lately, I'd probably suggest buying the GPU in the US instead. Are you looking for a founders edition or something special? It seems like you're being pretty secretive about your choice!
Keep in mind that prices in the EU typically include VAT, which is their version of sales tax. If you buy it, you may need to prove you already paid it to get a refund, depending on your local tax comparatives.
Honestly, I'm not sure if that person's approach makes sense. The shipping costs alone could really add up. I think it might be smarter to just get a GPU in the US.
I just don't want anyone else to grab it before I do! I'm really set on getting the Zotac 5070 Twin Edge. I've considered all options, and ordering from the EU seems like my best shot. I just hope I don't end up paying an extra 15% tax on top of it!
