I'm currently communicating with a guy who's in jail, and he's been threatening to expose me on social media. This situation has me really scared, and I'm not sure how to handle it. I know he has a Google Voice number, and I'm desperate to find a way to delete our messages completely. Is there any advice on what steps I can take to ensure my safety and get rid of any evidence?

Honestly, it might be a form of sextortion. It's crucial to keep records of his messages in case you decide to report him. After blocking him, consider talking to someone about this to figure out the emotional side of things too.

It sounds like you're dealing with a typical case of online threats. First, blocking him is a good move. But I recommend also contacting the police about the threats. They can guide you on next steps and help you feel safer. Don't hesitate to reach out for support!

I get why blocking seems risky, but if he’s threatening you, it’s important to take that step for your peace of mind. Plus, the police can help with this.
