I'm new to building PCs and would love some feedback on this proposed build. I want to know if it's a solid choice for what I need. Here's the link to the parts I'm considering: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/xzdhpK/add_to_cart/

Spending $280 on a motherboard seems high, especially for a budget build. You could get a $170 B850 instead, and it should perform just as well. Also, opt for DDR5 6000 CL30 RAM for better performance. Don’t skimp on the power supply either; I suggest a better one like this: https://www.amazon.com/MONTECH-Century-II-High-End-Cybenetics/dp/B0F3XW1J16?crid=2083CYCGWAUVO for just an extra $50. Consider a solid CPU cooler too, like the Thermalright Burst Assassin 120 SE, or if you want more performance, look at the bigger dual tower Phantom Spirit.

It’s tough to say if this build will be effective without knowing your goals. Are you mostly gaming? Then the type of games and your monitor’s resolution and refresh rate matter. The X870 board might be overkill unless you're planning to upgrade down the line. I'd recommend an x3D CPU for gaming. Your power supply is a bit low on watts; a good rule is to multiply your expected total power draw by 1.4 for the PSU wattage. Don’t cut corners there; go for at least an 80 Plus Bronze certified supply from a trusted brand.

The motherboard looks overpriced, and like others mentioned, your PSU isn’t strong enough. I’d suggest going for the 7500F instead of the 7600X and choosing a more reliable GPU for the cost of a cheaper CPU.

You definitely need a better power supply—what you have is pretty bad. Also, consider upgrading the cooler to something like the Peerless Assassin, as it's similarly priced but performs better. Unless you really need the extra features of the X870, switching to a B650 or B850 will save you money without sacrificing performance.
