I'm building a new PC featuring a 9800X3D processor, a Sapphire NITRO+ Radeon RX 9070 XT, and 64 GB of RAM. I'm considering getting either the 9070 XT or the 5070 Ti, since they're priced similarly, but I've heard some rumors about the new 50 Super Series CPUs. I have my eye on two 1440p 480Hz OLED monitors: the LG 27GX790A-B and the Asus PG27AQDP. I've done a bit of research about running games, especially CS2, at 480Hz. I usually play at 1080p or lower, but I'd love to run CS2 at 480Hz if possible. There's some confusion about whether I need DSC for either monitor, if DSC is just a special cable or a converter, and whether the cables that come with the monitors would suffice. Also, would switching to the 5070 Ti be a good move since all the 50 series GPUs support DP 2.1 UHBR20? I'm new to this, so any guidance would be really appreciated!

I’d lean towards the 5070 Ti for your needs. CS2 tends to perform better on Nvidia cards, and since the prices are close, it feels like a smart choice. Plus, you’ll get the added benefits of AI features as you push for higher frame rates.
Honestly, you'll hit 480 fps with the 9800X3D and a decent setup. Just keep in mind that for ultra-high refresh rates, you'll eventually want AI support, and the 5070 Ti has that advantage. It also handles ray tracing better, which might be nice for other games you play.
I see what you're saying, but CS2 is all about raw performance. I can easily get over 600 fps with my setup; just make sure your GPU supports 1440p at those speeds!
