I'm trying to bring down the CPU temperatures on my R5 7600x. Even though I have a decent fan, I hit around 85°C during intense gaming sessions like Cyberpunk and Battlefield. While playing lighter games like Roblox, my temps still hover around 67-70°C, which feels too warm for me, especially since I game in my bedroom and it makes the room uncomfortably hot. I'm considering an AIO cooler, but they're pricey, so I want to explore options for better air coolers first. My current setup includes a stock case with three fans in the front and one in the back, along with a Thermalright PS120SE cooler. I also just bought two Thermalright TL-C12C-S fans that I plan to install as exhaust on the top (this will be my first time doing this, so any tips are appreciated). I have an R5 7600x CPU, an RTX 4070 Super FE GPU, and a Gigabyte B650 EAGLE AX motherboard. My main goal is to reduce temps to keep my room cooler, and I don't want to open the window because the AC unit nearby starts up suddenly and scares my cat.

Your 85°C is still under the max threshold of 95°C, but in summer, it’s normal for temps to rise. If you're looking at AIO coolers, the Thermalright 360mm models are a good choice, typically priced between $50-90. You might also check out the Liquid Freezer III Pro series. Another tip is trying the curve optimizer; it can take a bit to set up but may offer some cooling benefits. Just so you know, many others with the same cooler are experiencing similar temps, so you’re not alone!
That AIO sounds great, but I’m worried if it’ll fit in my case as it looks pretty big. How do I check if my PC can accommodate that size? My case only seems to have enough top space for two fans.
