PC Not Booting in Windows on 4K Monitor – What Could Be Wrong?

Hey everyone! I recently built a new PC, and here are the specs: Aorus Z890 Elite WiFi 7 motherboard, Intel Ultra 7 265K processor, Predator 64GB DDR5 RAM, and a Gigabyte RTX 5070Ti Eagle OC graphics card, all powered by a Deepcool PQ1000M power supply with a total of 3TB SSD storage. The issue I'm facing is that my PC won't boot into Windows when connected to my 4K monitor (Samsung Viewfinity S8), but it works just fine on my 1080p monitor (BenQ). Do you think this could be due to a setting I adjusted in the NVIDIA control panel where I set the output to 4K@60Hz? Before that, it was getting 4K@30Hz. I'm using an HDMI 2.0 cable for the connection. When I hit the power button, I see the Aorus logo along with the Windows spinner, but then the screen goes blank instead of booting into Windows. I have a video attached showing the issue. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Just a quick check: is your HDMI cable plugged directly into your graphics card instead of the motherboard? If it’s going into the motherboard, that could prevent proper 4K output. Integrated graphics can typically struggle with 4K at 60Hz.

Have you tried using a DisplayPort cable? Sometimes HDMI connections can be finicky at higher resolutions, and a DP cable might resolve the issue for you.
