I'm considering an upgrade for my setup since I feel like my Ryzen 5 3600 is really holding back my 4060 Ti. I'm curious if switching to a Ryzen 7 5700X3D is worth it, or if there are other more affordable alternatives that could also give a good boost. I'm open to changing my power supply if necessary. Any advice?

Going from a 2600 to a 5700X3D felt like a whole new machine for my brother. It can really enhance performance, especially in CPU-intensive games. If you plan to play games that require lots of CPU power, this upgrade is definitely worthwhile. But before anything, just make sure your current GPU isn't already maxed out, or you might not see as much improvement.
Absolutely, if you can snag the 5700X3D at a decent price, it's a great upgrade! You could also consider the Ryzen 5 5600(X) or the 5800XT as cheaper alternatives. Just out of curiosity, what PSU are you using?
Exactly! Running benchmarks beforehand can help clarify if the current GPU is indeed the bottleneck.
