Help! No Bootable Device After Installing Linux

I'm having a really frustrating issue trying to install Debian with GNOME on my Lenovo Ideapad from around 2018. I've been using a Ventoy boot drive to execute the installation, and while the first boot runs fine, on subsequent reboots, I get the 'no bootable device found' error. I've tried other distros like Mint and Linux Lite as well, and the same problem occurs, so I suspect it might be a GRUB installation issue rather than a fault with Debian itself. I've checked the M.2 drive, and it seems secure. Any insights on whether this could be a hardware issue, or what else I could try? I'm currently taking a break, hoping for some good advice from everyone.

Have you checked your BIOS settings? Make sure both secure boot and fast boot are disabled. Also, confirm you're using UEFI/GPT instead of Legacy/MBR. Sometimes those simple settings can create big issues. It might also help to share more specific details about your hardware in case others have had similar experiences. Have you tried using Trixie or D12 for the install?

I did set the BIOS to UEFI and turned off secure boot. I used net-install for the setup.
