Having Trouble with My Nvidia GPU—What Are Some Good Alternatives?

Hey everyone, I'm dealing with some issues with my Nvidia GPU in my Lenovo Legion tower T5i. Here are my specs:
- Intel i5-10400F processor
- 16 GB DDR4 RAM
- 512 GB PCIe SSD
- Currently using an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 6GB graphics card

I've got Ubuntu on a separate partition and the Nvidia GPU has been acting up. I'm not a gamer and don't need top-tier performance, so I'm looking for recommendations for a decent, reasonably priced replacement. Also, are there any other upgrades I should consider besides the GPU? Thanks for your input!

You might want to disable Secure Boot and ensure the Nvidia drivers are properly installed. Since your CPU has an integrated GPU, you could also just use that if the Nvidia card is giving you too much trouble. But honestly, getting the Nvidia GPU working should be your priority because swapping it out could be a downgrade for your setup, especially if you don’t need high performance.

Exactly! The integrated graphics will work, but you’ll lose out on the capability of your current setup.
