Hey everyone! I'm trying to figure out if I can safely charge my devices that require a DC5V/1A power source using an Apple charging cube. I'm not super tech-savvy, so I want to make sure I'm doing it right. Would the Apple charger provide too much power, or is it safe to use?

Using a charger with a higher amperage rating is usually fine! Your devices will only draw the amount of current they need. So if you have a device that requires 1A at 5V, plugging it into a 2A at 5V charger, like most Apple cubes, shouldn't be a problem at all. Just keep in mind that the voltage has to match, so you'd need a 5V charger, which the Apple one does. Just avoid USB ports on PCs unless you're okay with slower charging, as they often have a lower amperage limit.
