I recently chose to build a budget gaming PC for around 900€ using an AM5 setup. I plan to use my current GPU, a 1660 Super, mainly for playing CS2 at low settings on 1080p. I have several questions: 1. Can I find better components for the same budget? 2. Are all the selected parts compatible? 3. Are the parts I picked worth the price? 4. Am I missing any necessary components? 5. Will I be able to run CS smoothly with this older GPU? My goal is to upgrade the GPU down the line without needing to change other parts. Here's my build: CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 4.2 GHz 8-Core, CPU Cooler: Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE ARGB, Motherboard: MSI B650 GAMING PLUS WIFI ATX AM5, Memory: Crucial Pro 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-5600 CL46, Storage: Acer Predator GM7 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME SSD, Case: Lian Li Lancool 207 ATX Mid Tower, Power Supply: be quiet! Pure Power 13 M 850 W 80+ Gold Fully Modular.

Your build looks solid! If you can, go for the cheapest Hynix manufactured memory. People like DDR5-6000 CL30 because it often edges out in performance, not just speed.
You might want to consider downgrading to a Ryzen 5 7600x and a more affordable B650 motherboard. With the savings, you could invest in a much better GPU like the RX 9060 XT for a significantly improved gaming experience.
I really don’t think you can fit a 9060 XT within your budget, though.
I completely disagree! For CS2, the 7800X3D is well worth it. You could look into getting a used RTX 3070 later for great performance.
You could potentially speed things up by selling your current GPU and upgrading to my suggested link for parts. It’ll be better overall without breaking the bank. But if you want to keep the 1660 Super, it will still work.
Would the 7800X3D still be fine for CS2? I’ve heard it runs well with Nvidia cards.
Just FYI, your RAM could be better. DDR5-6000 CL30 is really the sweet spot for performance if you want to optimize your build.
How do you feel about Teamgroup RAM? It also has a CL30 rating.
