Help! My PC Won’t Display After BIOS Changes

I was upgrading my PC from Windows 10 to Windows 11, and the installer prompted me to enable Secure Boot in the BIOS. I did that, saved the changes, and restarted my PC. Now, it powers on, but there's no display on the monitor, and my keyboard and mouse aren't getting power either. I later learned that Secure Boot doesn't work with Legacy BIOS, only with UEFI. I've tried various methods like performing a CMOS reset, shorting the CMOS pins, changing the RAM slots, and even powering up the PC without the GPU or SSD, but nothing has resolved the issue. I'm convinced that a proper BIOS reset or disabling Secure Boot would get my PC back to working order, but I'm unsure if I executed the resets correctly. I have a Skytech gaming PC with a 1660 Ti, Ryzen 5 2600, and a Gigabyte GA-A310M-S2H motherboard. I'm at my wit's end, so any advice would be appreciated!

Since your system powers on but doesn't POST (Power-On Self-Test), it's crucial to double-check the motherboard connections. Ensure that all power cables are connected correctly, especially the CPU power. If you still can't get to BIOS, it might be worth testing with another monitor or HDMI cable if available.

Thanks for the suggestion! I've checked the cables, but I’ll definitely try using a different monitor just to be sure.

I had a similar issue when I was switching to UEFI. It turned out that I needed to manually switch to UEFI mode in the BIOS settings after resetting it. You might want to try that if you can get back into BIOS somehow. Also, you can try booting with just one stick of RAM to see if that helps!

It sounds like you're having quite a headache with that BIOS change. Have you tried taking out the CMOS battery and leaving it out for a few minutes before putting it back in? That can sometimes help reset everything. Also, checking if the monitor and all cables are firmly connected might help too, just to rule out any simple issues. Good luck!

Yeah, I can’t even access the BIOS anymore. The fans and RGB lights are all working, but the monitor still won’t show anything. I’ve definitely removed the CMOS battery and tried shorting the pins.
