I recently upgraded my ASUS TUF FX505DT laptop from Windows 10 to Windows 11, and now my disk usage is stuck at 100%. The startup took about 20 minutes, and it's running really slowly. When I checked the task manager, it took a while to open and showed that the 'System' process was using the most resources. I've only restarted my laptop a few times but haven't done much else yet. Any advice on how to fix this?

It might be that Bitlocker is auto-encrypting your drive after the upgrade. If that’s the case, you should disable it to avoid losing any data. If you’re using a Microsoft Account and a PIN, it’s more likely to be on. Check your settings!
Try letting your laptop run for a bit longer. It’s possible that it’s just doing some initial post-upgrade tasks. A 20-minute startup time isn't normal, though. When you mention 'startup', do you mean just getting to the login screen?
Just give it some time. Over the next day or two, keep checking for updates. Sometimes they don’t show up immediately, but they’ll come through later. After all updates are finished, look into whatever update tool ASUS provides to make sure everything’s in order.
