I've been working as an infra managed service associate for about two years now, and I'm really interested in making a career switch to DevOps, especially focusing on cloud technologies. I have a basic understanding of the field, but I'm looking for guidance on how to effectively transition into this area. Can anyone share their experience or provide a roadmap for pursuing a career in DevOps? I'd really appreciate any tips or advice!

Transitioning to DevOps can be straightforward! Start by getting a good grip on Linux and scripting. Then, move on to version control with Git, followed by CI/CD practices. Familiarize yourself with containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes. Building a home lab can be super beneficial for hands-on experience. Once you land a job, much of the additional learning will happen on the job! I recommend checking out the roadmap shared by Mischa van den Burg; it's really insightful!
