Hey everyone! I recently built a website that helps users count their tills at the end of the day, and I'm looking to add some ads to cover my web hosting costs. I tried applying for Google AdSense but got rejected. A friend mentioned it might be because it's categorized as a tool website. Are there any alternative ways to display ads on my site? Thanks for your help! Here's the link to my site: https://eodbuddy.com/

Have you checked your site's traffic? From what I can see, it might not be getting much, which could be a factor in the rejection. Google tends to favor websites with rich content. Also, if your site is fully static, you might consider hosting it for free on platforms like GitHub Pages or Cloudflare Pages, which can be a good cost-saving move.

In the last week, I had about 5k visitors! I thought that could help generate some ad revenue. It’s a simple tool, but I wanted to make it helpful for others.

You’ve got plenty of options for free hosting—Vercel, Cloudflare Pages, Netlify, AWS Free Tier, you name it! But honestly, it might be better to focus on building traffic and gaining regular users before stressing over ad revenue. Right now, your site looks a bit AI-generated, which could also be impacting your chances.
